Possibly the best way to explain the mission of Alaskan Estate Trusts, is by repeating the words on the "spines" of our 3-inch binders: Estate Preservation Program. The most descriptive definition of this concept is to minimize or eliminate unnecessary expenses and taxes from one's estate. Most of us have lived within or below "our means" as we struggled to accumulate assets to save for items we wanted to acquire without using credit cards, prepare for those years when our ability to work is diminished, provide for our families, and take care of our various responsibilities. We have probably tried to foster a legacy of people who worked hard, strove to be independent and self-reliant, who were prudently generous, who cherished their family heritage, and who greatly valued education and skills-training, home ownership, and freedom from debt. As we live the years of our lives, and especially as we begin drifting into the twilight years of our lives, it upsets us to see waste of any sort, but especially wasteful and unnecessary spending from our estates. Helping foster these values, and turning them into realities for peace of mind...is what we do.
We provide many seminars in various areas of the state, including traveling into outlying and even remote areas to bring these financial preservation opportunities to as large a part of our state's population as possible. Several clients have said they would never have been able to participate in such preservation planning if Alaskan Estate Trusts professionals had not COME TO THEM.
Finally, we are fiduciaries. These are professionals who place needs, objectives, and welfare of their clients above their own. We strive to be fairly compensated for our professional work, but not by causing clients to spend amounts with us that are actually unnecessary. We educate people to "Trust a Trust" for Estate Preservation |
